People frequently find themselves called upon to take minutes. Sometimes with very little training and support, they are expected to produce an accurate record of a meeting as if by magic.

What will I learn?
This 75 minute session will highlight some useful pointers for taking effective minutes, such as the importance of developing good listening skills and the ability to note down and summarise large amounts of information. You will gain a greater understanding of the role of the minute taker and how you can make sure that you are effective. There will be also be an opportunity for you to undertake a practical exercise to try out your listening skills.
