Accredited by the CPD Standards Office
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is an ongoing commitment to positively develop the knowledge, skills and personal qualities demanded by a profession. In many professions CPD is compulsory in order to maintain individual membership of a professional institute, regulator, or employment with an organisation.
Whether or not you work in a profession where CPD is compulsory, it's good to know that all Reed Learning courses have been accredited by the CPD Standards Office. This is the only body that seeks to accredit all forms of CPD activity, including new forms such as coaching or webinars. The organisation aims to raise standards by only accrediting high-quality CPD provision.
If your profession has formal CPD requirements you will need to accumulate CPD hours, points or learning goals. Your regulator, professional body, or employer will have provided clear instructions for documenting and recording your CPD activities.
Each Reed Learning face-to-face training course is worth six hours of accredited CPD per day. On completion of a course, you will receive an attendance certificate that is appropriate for a formal CPD record.
