Below you'll find the answers to some of the questions we get asked most often.
If you have a question that's not answered here, then just give us a call on 0800 170 7777 and we'll do our best to answer it.
When do the courses start and end?
Delegates need to arrive at 9am or 9.15am depending on the course – you will be advised of the exact time in your joining instructions. In the first half-hour, you’ll register and get a chance to meet your fellow delegates over coffee and biscuits.
Courses start at 9.30am or 9.45am – again, your course confirmation pack will detail exact timings. Lunch is provided with all our courses – there is a one hour lunch break scheduled between 12.00 noon and 2.00pm. Refreshments are served throughout the day. Courses finish by 5.00pm and you’ll leave with a full course pack.
What is the dress code?
There is no dress code for Reed Learning courses. The courses are meant to be fun and relaxing as well as giving you the best training. Most people who attend our courses feel most comfortable in business casual clothing.
How many people are there on a course?
We strictly limit delegate numbers to ensure each delegate receives the best training possible, but it does vary course to course. The group size ranges from 3 to 14, and the average in 2010 was 8 people.
The maximum number of people allowed to attend a course varies. Most courses have a maximum of 14, but some courses like Train the Trainer or Professional Presentation Skills have smaller class sizes. If you'd like to know how many people are attending your particular course, just ask.
What happens if someone needs to contact me?
Call free on 0800 170 7777, and the message will be passed on to the relevant people at the training centre. In an emergency the session will be interrupted, otherwise you will be given your message in the break.
Is lunch provided?
Yes, don't worry - we provide lunch inclusive with all our courses. Every course will be provided with one of three options:
• A visit to a local restaurant
• A buffet lunch in the training centre
• £5 food vouchers valid at many local shops & cafes
I have special dietary requirements. How do I make sure I get food that's suitable?
If you have special dietary requirements, please notify our team on 0800 170 7777 or by email to email@example.com with exact details before the course. We will do everything we can to accommodate you.
Is there someone I can talk to about the course?
Our training consultants are always happy to talk to you about your training requirements and will always offer you advice and suggestions on what may be right for you.
Give them a call free on 0800 170 7777 (Mon – Fri 8am-6pm) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Where will my course take place?
Our scheduled courses are run at a wide variety of locations across the country. Here's a full list of our venues.
We also run courses in partnership with leading providers like the Institute of Direct Marketing or CIMA. If you're attending a partner course it will be held at their venue.
Full details and directions for your venue will be supplied when you book. If you have any questions or need more detail just call us on 0800 170 7777 and we'll be happy to help.
How do I book an in-house course?
It's simple. On every course you'll find an option to request more information about running it in-house. You can also go directly to a general request form. Once you've filled it in, one of our account managers will contact you to discuss your requirements.
If you'd prefer to phone, you can call our account managers directly on 020 7520 6600. Or you can email us at email@example.com.
What sort of course do I need?
We offer a wide range of options, from scheduled courses to bespoke programmes. We try to keep things clear, but if you're confused or want more guidance our learning advisors will be happy to help. They'll listen to your requirements and then give you expert advice on the approach they think will be best.
